Founded in 1994 and headquartered in France, Cristalens began as a distributor of cataract surgery devices before establishing its own manufacturing capabilities for hydrophilic and hydrophobic intraocular lenses (IOLs). The company manages the full production process—from raw material development through to packaging—and distributes its products internationally in more than 50 countries.
