More than 100 spine surgeons and healthcare professionals from across Southeast Asia gathered in Da Nang on 8–9 May 2026 for the third edition of DDU ASEAN, a flagship educational meeting dedicated to advancing deformity and degenerative spine care through scientific exchange, practical learning, and regional collaboration.

Over two intensive days, participants engaged in a comprehensive scientific programme featuring expert-led lectures, case-based discussions, panel sessions, and hands-on workshops covering a broad range of topics, including deformity correction, cervical disc replacement, and contemporary approaches to treating complex spinal conditions.

Designed to encourage meaningful peer-to-peer exchange, DDU ASEAN provides a valuable platform for both leading and emerging spine surgeons to share real-world experiences, discuss clinical challenges, and explore new technologies that are shaping the future of spine surgery.

Beyond the educational programme, the meeting continues to strengthen professional connections across the region and foster a growing community of surgeons committed to improving patient outcomes through education, collaboration, and innovation.

The event reflects Transmedic’s ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful professional education and bringing the world’s leading healthcare solutions closer to the needs of healthcare professionals across Southeast Asia.
